Community Food Center

The process of food production is laid out step-by-step in this all-encompassing “food center”. A walk through the site provides a journey from the garden to the kitchen to the table. But more importantly, it emphasizes the way humans interact with food. The street-facing greenhouse asks visitors to partake in the preparation of the fresh produce. The kitchen and grilling station provide platforms to create the meal. Lastly, the multitudes of green spaces and pavilions allow the community to gather in the act of sharing the meal.
